The Role

We are looking for an experienced account manager with a keen sales focus to help onboard & rollout new customers, and retain and upsell current customers.

Your primary role is to ensure that our customers are getting enormous value from our software, are super happy and in turn, increase usage across their business.

  • Delve into the details of how each customer is using APE Mobile
  • Understand the key drivers, people, problems and our value
  • Bring best practices from similar customers, uncover new ways we can add value
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Plan and deliver pilots and rollouts alongside Sales & Customer Success
  • Spot early warning signs and bring customers back on track
  • Be the customers’ advocate within APE Mobile
  • Run mini-projects such as setting up in-app product tours


  • Help deliver the best pilot experience possible
  • Ensure expected outcomes are being continually met (problems solved / value provided)
  • Have a plan in place for each customer to retain & expand
  • Find and develop new opportunities within current customers
  • Update and track activity in Salesforce
  • Demonstrate commitment to delivering awesome outcomes

Technical Skills

  • Able to use all the usual office software including CRM (we use Salesforce)
  • Comfortable with, and an interest in, technology in general


  • 1+ years account management in B2B software, preferably SaaS
  • Used to working with a large number of accounts
  • Experience in a role with some sales/upsell/retention component preferred
  • Demonstrable history of achievement (in work or elsewhere)
  • Preferably worked for a startup / small team
